Feed Central is affiliated with Dairy One. Dairy One is a farmer owned cooperative that is based in the USA and was established in 1974. It is governed by a board of 17 American dairy farmers and aims ‘To create and deliver data and information which will be used to make profit enhancing decisions for members of the agricultural community’.

Dairy One represents approximately 4,000 farms in the US which consist of around 600,000 dairy cows and provides services in all 50 states of the US. They are one of the world leaders in NIR forage and grain testing and on top of the services they provide in America they also have an Affiliate Program which allows for more than 35 countries around the world to use their calibrations and add to the largest database of.

Feed Central is part of this Affiliate Program which means that the Feed Testing Calibrations we use are continually being updated from data not only from Australia and America, but also from around the world. Analytical Services to Meet your Needs

Near Infrared Reflectance spectroscopy (NIR) is a sophisticated technique for rapidly analysing common forages and grains. Multiple components are determined simultaneously making results available within 24 hours of receipt by our lab. NIR service packages are limited to certain feed types. Feed Central as an Affiliate of Dairy One offers the most comprehensive NIR analysis, service, results, and the choice of feed industry professionals.

By undertaking regular ring and bias testing with both Feed Central Labs and with the Dairy One lab in America, we ensure that all feed test results are as accurate as possible.
