High Clearance Rate for product advertised with Feed Central

The Feed Central website has been buzzing with activity, achieving a 76% clearance rate so far this year, following a major upgrade during 2017 and a re-launch in January 2018.

The success is clear with 76% of the hay and grain being delisted for the calendar year to date being delisted because it was sold through Feed Central or over our website. Managing Director, Tim Ford said, “This is great for the clients, who have advertised with Feed Central. Our Clearance Rate shows that all of the changes that we have made have been well received by buyers and are working for sellers.”

Changes and upgrades to the system include:
> Buyers and sellers can meet and deal direct online, without the involvement of
Feed Central if they choose
> Sellers can choose the level of quality assurance they want for both hay and grain
> Feed Testing for grain
> Sellers can set their own price
> Upgraded and easy-to-use search functionality
> Simple and user-friendly website and navigation
> National Hay and Grain Registry emailed to all clients monthly

Mr Ford said “The statistics are great, but the positive feedback is even better. Every day we are getting positive feedback about our website; that is the best part!”

Feed Central has been receiving regular and positive feedback about the website from both hay and grain buyers and sellers. New Feed Central client and web user, Mr Guy Heblewhite used the website recently to buy some hay for his backgrounding operation near Tamworth. Mr Heblewhite commented, “I recently used the Feed Central website to buy some hay and the website is great!! Very easy to use”.
